Under a parking ordinance amendment, it may be easier to find parking in Falls.
The Falls Supervisors on Monday voted unanimously to remove parking restrictions from a number of roads. Township attorney Lauren Gallagher said the changes were put forth in consultation with the Falls Township Police Department, which agreed to the removal of parking restrictions.
Under the parking amendments, motorists can now park on Vermillion Way from Trenton Road to Vermont Lane, a change Supervisor Brian Galloway said was “a long time coming.”
A number of roadways had required permit parking during school hours, which has since been rescinded under the change. Those roads are: Barberry Lane from Black Pine Lane to Buttonwood Lane; Buttonwood Lane No. 88; Bluespruce Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 82; Bluespruce Lane from address No. 101 to and including No. 69; Briaroot Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 80; Briaroot Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 75; Black Pine Lane from Upper Birch Drive to and including No. 42; Black Pine Lane from Upper Birch Drive to and including No. 37; and Upper Bird Drive from Black Pine Lane to the Township Line.
