The Falls Township Board of Supervisors have put the pedal to the metal in beginning the 2017 road program.
The board, during its April meeting, unanimously awarded a contract to James D. Morrissey, Inc. in the amount of $1.2 million for a full-depth reconstruction of a portion of Walton Drive, as well as mill and overlay improvements in Makefield Road Village and mill and overlay improvements on Mill Creek Parkway. Township Engineer Jim Sullivan said work is expected to begin by mid-June and conclude within four months.
As part of the road construction project, Sullivan, of T&M Associates, will undertake road construction services, including bid administration and daily construction observation. In addition, T&M Associates will mediate any disputes that may arise with contractors and sub-contractors and work to keep the project on schedule.
