Jewelry Fundraiser

Donations of eclectic and unique jewelry and accessory items, such as scarves and handbags, are sought for the Saturday, April 1 Fallsington Library jewelry sale.

Proceeds from the sale will help fund the library’s free, unique programs and services.

Set for the weekend before Easter, the sale is a great way to try out a new look or accessorize your holiday attire.

The fundraiser will feature a wide selection of jewelry, including handmade items, vintage, and costume, as well as dozens of scarves.

“We’ll have something for everyone,” Fallsington Library Director Charlene Rendeiro said, adding that pricing begins as low as $1 for some items. “We price it nicely. We’re excited to have affordable, beaded silver jewelry donated by a local artist this year, too.”

To ensure enough variety of items, the library is seeking donations of gently used jewelry and accessories. Donations may be dropped off at Fallsington Library, 139 Yardley Ave., in Fallsington during regular operating hours (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
